RESUMO
Os
humanos andam eretos há milhões de anos, mas só há aproximadamente 40.000 anos
nossos ancestrais inventaram a arte. Em algum momento da era glacial, quando os
caçadores e coletores ainda viviam em cavernas, a mentalidade Neanderthal de
fazer instrumentos deu lugar ao impulso Cro-Magnon de fazer Imagem. Contudo o
objetivo desse trabalho é fazer uma breve introdução do período pré-histórico e
a importância da produção artística dessa época para conhecermos o cotidiano
dos nossos ancestrais.

ABSTRACT
Humans walk upright millions of years ago, but only
about 40,000 years ago our ancestors invented art. Sometime during the ice age,
when hunters and gatherers still living in caves, the Neanderthal mentality of
making instruments gave way to the Cro-Magnon impulse to make image. However the aim of this paper is to
briefly introduce the prehistoric period and the importance of artistic
production of that period to know the daily lives of our ancestors.
